ARE YOU LOSING OUT BECAUSE OF GRAMMATICAL/SPELLING ERRORS??!

"Fifty nine per cent of Britons will NOT use a company that had obvious grammatical or spelling mistakes on their website or in their marketing material."

Hi, I am Penny Kelly, a qualified Proofreader. This has allowed me to extend my knowledge of grammar and the English language. I have proofreading experience in many of my previous jobs - some of these work environments were where excellent attention to detail was paramount.

A few years ago I worked for an advertising company where I proofread adverts for Deceased Estates, Licence requests, etc, before featuring in national newspapers. Unfortunately, this job ended in the pandemic. I am now looking to expand on this career.

  • I have always had an interest in English literature and language. This is why I became a proofreader.
  • Whether on social media, in a book, or in an article in a newspaper, I can always spot spelling and grammatical mistakes - it has become a lifelong habit!
It is important to see sense in what we read and write and I would like to contribute to this.
