About Me image
ARE YOU LOSING OUT BECAUSE OF GRAMMATICAL/SPELLING ERRORS??!

"Fifty-nine per cent of Britons will NOT use a company that had obvious grammatical or spelling mistakes on their website or in their marketing material."

Hi, I am Penny Kelly, a qualified Proofreader. This has allowed me to extend my knowledge of grammar and the English language. I have proofreading experience in many of my previous jobs - some of these work environments were where excellent attention to detail was paramount.

I previously worked for an advertising company where I proofread adverts for Deceased Estates and Licence requests. These adverts were then featured in national newspapers. Unfortunately, this job ended in the pandemic. I am currently looking to advance my career.

  • I have always had an interest in English literature and language. This is why I became a proofreader.
  • Whether it's on social media, in a book, or an article in a newspaper, I can always spot spelling and grammatical mistakes - it has become a lifelong habit!

It is important to see sense in what we read and write and I would like to contribute to this.
